Superfly Cycles sponsors competitive cyclists and triathletes that inspire us by their motivation, integrity and commitment to their sport. For 2011 we are sponsoring the following athletes and teams.

Craig Alexander is the current world Triathlete Champion and 2-time winner of Hawaii Ironman. Crowie lives in Australia and trains in Boulder, Colorado during the summer. After meeting him, we're inspired by his commitment to the sport and his family. One more thing....hide your chocolate if you are around him - he's a chocolate-a-holic and has been known to take M&M's from kids' candy stash when they are not looking.

A Pro-Triathlete, Stephen has a refreshing down-to-earth attitude. An aficionado of good coffee and macaroons, we often see him at the local Boulder coffee shop after a hard work-out. Stephen works in Australia as a builder 1/2 of the year and trains in Boulder, Colorado during the summer. Many believe Stephen to be the next break-out triathlete .... but we don't want to jinx him.

Based in Boulder, Colorado, Coursa Sports is an elite Masters competitive cycling team that competes on a national and international level. While many of the team members are pro-riders, they also juggle full-time ‘real’ jobs and families. To fit training into their lives, it’s not uncommon for the team to start their rides at 4 in the morning every weekday.

Our inhouse road cyclist and triathlon team made up of members from our store. We are a varied bunch with Cat-2 & 3 road racers, sprint and Ironman elite-level triathletes, expert mountain-bike racers and a 1st place finisher in the XTERRA World Championship.
