The SL01 Road Racer takes many cues from its siblings, the Team Machine and Race Machine, including the iSC Integrated Skeleton Concept. iSC was developed through BMCs innovative use of Finite Element Method (FEM) computer technology, allowing the specific design of every tube and tube junction to create the best combination of lateral and torsional stiffness. The streamlined seat tube design found on the Road Racer helps the frame maximize stiffness out the back, while the tapered fork steerer keeps things in control up front.

All these engineering details means you will have as much confidence coming back down the mountain as you did when you were dancing on the pedals on the way up. The use of unidirectional carbon throughout means this frame is all business, and the naked color scheme shows that off to great effect. Oh- let's not forget the internally routed cables that keep things looking clean and shifting and braking well.

 

This bike is fully outfitted in Shimano Ultegra Components and comes in naked carbon.
