BMC Team Machine SLR01
The BMC SLR01 Team Machine is the Swiss manufacturers best example of their Tuned Compliance Concept, or TCC for short. TCC is BMC’s ability to take different carbon layups and, by altering their alignment, tune the frame to get the optimum combination of lateral and torsional stiffness while maintaining vertical compliance- all key elements to maximize the ride quality of any bike frame. The SLR01’s features that incorporate TCC are the seatpost, seat stays, and the front fork. You’ll notice the striking lines that the SLR01 exhibits, especially those of the minimalist seat stays, whose layup and design are specific to smoothing out the ride, providing stability, and maximizing the power of the rear brake. US National Road Champion George Hincapie has depended on the SLR01 while flying the Stars and Stripes Jersey in Europe. The BB30 ready frame also includes an innovative angle lock clamping system on the TCC seatpost. A tapered fork steerer keeps things under control up front.
