Rotors' SP1 seatpost eliminates traditional parallelogram clamping seatpost design in favor of 'capable arch' technology. Capable arch is their tech talk for a screw angle adjustable system. This type of system has 2 main benefits:
1) Loading forces in both screws are always equally balanced decreasing the potential for structural failure.
2) There is a consistent angle and load regardless of saddle position.
